Spaghetti Squash

An easy way to cook spaghetti squash in the oven.

Spaghetti squash is so easy to prepare and is a great alternative to pasta, especially if you are looking to cut calories.


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Spaghetti Squash
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • pepper to taste


DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  2. Wash the outside of the squash really well, then cut in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds.
  3. Place on a parchment lined, or silpat lined baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle 1 teaspoon of olive oil in each half, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Turn over and pierce with a fork all over.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Let cool slightly and then scrape out the spaghetti squash with a fork.
  8. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator.
