Why did I start this project?
I started this website to help me organize my recipes. Currently I have binders and binders of all my recipes and it's getting harder to remember which binder certain recipes are in. So this way I can search quickly through my favorite recipes and have them at my fingertips anywhere I am at.
Food is Love
From a young age, I have grown my love for preparing food from my parents and both sets of my grandparents.
There is something special about preparing food for people you love and I look forward to the entire process from menu planning, to grocery shopping to the actual cooking. And the best part is I have a wonderful husband who is willing to help be my sous chef and do the dishes.
Our Travels
We love to travel and when we go to new countries, we try to recreate favorite dishes at home. In the photos at the left, we were in Cairo, Egypt sampling some of the wonderful Egyptian food they had prepared for us. Look out for some of these meals to make an appearance on my website too!
